Privacy notice

This notice explains how Kencoder (“Kencoder,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through this website. It does not cover services we provide under a separate client agreement.

What we collect

Information you send us

When you use the preliminary assessment or contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, your preferred contact method, your email address and/or phone number, and, for the assessment, your business name, website, industry, approximate revenue range, team size, timing, primary objective, role, and any context you choose to add.

Please do not send passwords, patient information, financial statements, or other sensitive records. We do not need them to respond to an inquiry.

Inquiry source information

To understand how people find us, the forms also send the page you first landed on, the website that referred you (domain only), and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, “utm_source”). Your browser keeps this in session storage only for the current visit. We discard values that look like contact details.

Technical information

Our hosting provider processes standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site, protect it from abuse (including limiting repeated form submissions), and keep operational logs. Our form-processing logs record submission reference numbers and delivery status, not the content of your message.

Analytics and cookies

If analytics is enabled on this site, we use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Until then it is not loaded and sets no cookies. With your permission it records pages viewed and basic events, such as starting the assessment or clicking a phone link. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or anything you type into our forms to Google Analytics. Advertising features and Google signals are turned off.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage. You can change it at any time with the “Analytics choices” link in the footer.

We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry using the contact method you chose
• To assess whether and how we might be able to help your business
• To keep a record of our conversations and any proposal that follows
• To understand which pages and sources bring useful inquiries
• To protect the site and our systems from misuse

We do not sell your information. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Service providers

We use these providers to operate the site and handle inquiries. They process information on our behalf under their own terms:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security, and form processing
• HubSpot: customer-relationship management, where inquiries are stored
• Resend: delivery of inquiry notifications and confirmation emails
• Google Analytics: website analytics, only with your permission

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry records for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless we enter into an engagement, in which case records are kept as required for that relationship and applicable law. You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you submitted, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing admin@kencoder.net. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your request.

Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, restricted access to inquiry records, and secret credentials stored only on the server. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information through the website.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date.
